This message is BCC’d to everyone who has bought a KuroBox HG since we changed to the external switching power supply.

As many of you know, we just received a new shipment of KuroBoxes from Japan that have external switching power supplies. These power supplies allow you to use any voltage from 110 to 240, and allow our users overseas to use their Kuro without an extra transformer. However, the Kuros that we got from Japan did not include the power cable that connects from the external power supply to the wall outlet – that is, the specialized connector for each country. A few orders shipped yesterday (Wed, March 15) before we caught this problem. If you are reading this email, you are one of the lucky will receive a cordless Kuro.

What’s important to know is that the power supply IS included in your box. What’s missing is the actual cord that connects it to the wall. This cord is sometimes referred to as a “figure-8” cord, as the connector that goes to the power supply is in the shape of a figure 8.

Now -- we have normal American two-prong connectors (the same as the old KuroBox) in stock. We are shipping these to everyone who ordered in the US/Canada today. You should receive this at the same shipping address as your Kuro.

For our overseas customers, you have three options available to you:

1) We can ship you a standard 2-prong American connector. You can then use your own adapter. We can ship these to you immediately.

2) Next week, we can ship you a UK or European connector. We do not have these in stock now, but will receive them by the end of next week.

3) You can forgo receiving either cable, and we will give you a $10 gift certificate to Kurobox.com towards the purchase of another Kuro
