Just got my first Kuro box, installed debian on it OK, with apache2, IMAP etc. I'm now trying to get CUPS working as a server for machines on the network, printing to a HP JetDirect EX Plus print server.
I'm getting an error when trying to print the test page from the web interface.

I [23/Feb/2007:23:32:15 +0000] Hint: Do you have ESP Ghostscript installed?
I [23/Feb/2007:23:32:15 +0000] Hint: Try setting the LogLevel to "debug".
Based on that I've tried installing gs-esp - The Ghostscript PostScript interpreter - ESP version
borrowdale:/var/log/cups# apt-get install gs-esp

The following extra packages will be installed:
coreutils debianutils defoma file gs-common gsfonts libglib2.0-0 libice6 libsm6 libx11-6 libxext6 libxt6 xfree86-common xlibs-data
But why do I need xfree86-common to print?
Is there any other way to print with out needing xfree86-common? It just seams a little over the top to me.
