I've been trying to install ndiswrapper in order to use my usb wireless adapter, Linksys's WUSB54GC on my Kuro-Box.
When I did make, I got the following error.
make -C driver
make: Entering directory `/tmp/ndiswrapper-1.47/driver'
Can't find kernel build files in /lib/modules/2.6.20-kurobox/build;
give the path to kernel build directory with
KBUILD=<path> argument to make
make: *** [prereq_check] Error 1
make: Leaving directory `/tmp/ndiswrapper-1.47/driver'
make: *** [all] Error 2
The kernel has been upgraded to 2.6.20 with this image
and the kernel module
I did a google search and found this thread
. They say,
To install the kernel headers:
apt-get install kernel-headers-`uname -r`To install the kernel source, first find out the exact release with uname -r.
For example, if your release is 2.6.8-2-386 the command should be:
apt-get install kernel-source-2.6.8
tar -xvf kernel-source-2.6.8.tar
So is it what I have to do to install kernel-headers and kernel-soucrce? I saw this thread
as well. They say kernel-devel's and the current kernel's version have to be matched.
I appreciate your information.
