The more I read the wiki and forums the greater my confusion. I'm trying to understand how to get Debian on a KuroBox Pro.

Which set of instructions should I follow? I see there are freelink instructs but then another set of instructions that use other images. http://www.kurobox.com/mwiki/index.php/Debian_install and http://www.kurobox.com/mwiki/index.php/ ... 8Debian.29

Based on the Wiki the FreeLink seems riskier. It appears it makes a change to flash where as the other Debian instructs do not touch flash.

Please help a newbie to Kuro out. Thanks.

HI,

It all depends on which Kurbox model you have.
If you have a Kurobox or Kurobox HG you can follow these instructions:
http://www.kurobox.com/mwiki/index.php/Debian_install OR
http://www.kurobox.com/mwiki/index.php/Debian_sylver (which is an improved debian image, details on what is improved can be found in the wiki page).

If you have a Kurobox Pro (latest model available) you follow the freelink instructions you quoted.[/b]
