I have a Kuro Box HG.
I setup my box with "Improved Debian image made by Sylver" including the 220.127.116.11 update.
Some weeks ago, I had a problem rebooting the box. The power LED would blink for several minutes, then the diag LED would blink 6 times. When I switched it off and on again, the kernel reverted to 2.4.17.
I was messing around and got to this Wiki page on U-Boot
. I downloaded the "Kernel 18.104.22.168 for Kurobox HG" file and extracted in the root directory, and rebooted.
Well, on the next reboot, the box booted up in the 22.214.171.124 kernel.
But, when I rebooted again, I got the symptoms I described above: power LED blink for several minutes, followed by repeating 6 blinks of the diag LED.
The problem is that now I can't get out of this "boot sequence". I wonder if the U-boot stuff I did is stopping the box from booting the 2.4 kernel...
I'm pretty sure this isn't a problem with the hard disk, since I've been using the Kuro-Box for months (78 days without reboot!).
Any help appreciated
