Ok, so I'm setting up a new Kurobox and I haven't looked at this stuff in a while (I have wanted to contribue but haven't had the time). The Wiki pages for this don't say what HTTP server to use. So what are people using these days on the Kuro, Apache or is lighthttpd better?

Ok lighttpd is driving me crazy.

Why won't it handle .cgi files? If I request a .cgi file it will not execute it, it wands to send it to the browser. lighttpd properly handles the file if has any other extension.

To the best of my knowledge, I have altered the lighttpd configuration to handle .cgi extensions the same way it handles .pm extensions. (I only need perl)

NM the above post, Firefox just has a very aggressive cache - had to clear it.

I was missing an /etc/linkstation_release

Sylver did not make this easy.
