Hello,

is it possible to move the /var directory to an usb stick? I try this now for days without any success.

I want to do this, because samba writes very often to /var/cache/samba and its log files - and then the harddisc always starts...

Thx
Kai

Maybe an usb stick isn't the best solution. You should better use a ramfs or tmpfs.
