Another great turnout. The entries will once again be identified by number to give a little anonymity to the contestants. Please vote in the poll, and your votes will go to determining the winner. These are in no particular order:

(1) A KuroBox port and documentation detailing how to install Fedora Core 5. Link

(2) A wireless Kurobox media system (plays MP3's itself) with access and control from a number of devices, including the Nintendo DS! Works in your car! Link

(3) Instructions on how to build a serial interface for your Kuro. Link

(4) Program and documentation detailing how to build a media 'bridge' to your Playstation2. Program (tarball) Word Doc

(5) Digital Video Archiver (for serving video to streaming players, such as ReplayTV). Word Doc

(6) The Sekuro-box, a cool project to turn your Kurobox into a security system.Link

(7) Howto turn your KuroBox into a web gallery (builds on Syler's distro). Link

(8 ) The KuroRipper is an addition to the Kurobox NAS system. It allows automatic copying of images, video and audio files from USB media such as USB keys, Compact FLASH, SD cards and audio CDs
Link

(9) Detailed instructions on how to build a JTAG interface for your KuroBox. Link

(10) A remotely controlled (through bluetooth devices!) audio player for your home.
Link

Thanks to all the submitters. I'm a little partial to one project in particular, but they're all great. Please vote!

*** EDIT ***
Sorry about this, but my Spam-filter-of-doom accidentally nixed a few projects. They've been added, and the voting time has been extended until Sunday night (7/30)

Shouldn't we reset the vote counts? (although I like the number of votes I have)

or allow those missed entries to go to the next month?

Should anyone wish to change their votes mail me or PM me with your original vote and your new vote and I will pass them on to John. (I will not update the poll)

Yeah -- let either waite or me know, and we'll change for this time. Also -- entries can go for two contests if they don't win.

Public voting closed, now doing an internal evaluation of the projects. We will announce the winners here later this week.

So we have decided on the winners of this contest:

1st -- The Se-Kuro Box (Terastation Pro)
2nd -- The Wireless-controlled Car MP3 Player (LinkTheatre)
3rd -- The Fedora Core port and Howto (Wireless setup)

The projects were fantastic this time -- we had an especially difficult time judging this one.

Sorry to everyone who didn't win -- remember that you can re-enter the same project twice.
