Right ive got a hg, been u-booted for a while now and i was just updating the kernel, now its not working... must have done something wrong as I was trying to remove some modules and all sorts.

can somebody make me a vmlinux.UBoot kernel for me? or tell me where there is one

hmm, this uboot (run emboot) em mode is a bit more restricted then usual..

have not ftp server or client and no wget either... hmmm...

does this mean im gonna have to take the drive out and do it all manually like.. ?

got it ,

it had not been rebooted in a while, by which time the boot partition must have been courupted.

ran an fsck on it which fixed some stuff.. not were back up and running

Shouldnt uboot automatically run an fsck if the drive has errors ?

isnt that writeok routine in uboot perminant then ?
might just be a co-incky-dink that it work and the actual drive is dieing.
