 Post subject: edonkeyclc ?

has anyone tried using the edonkey command line client on the Kuro Box ?

http://forum.edonkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=76513

or latest (but buggy) :

http://www.zen18864.zen.co.uk/edonkey/1 ... 3_i386.tgz

this is what I currently use on a small home server (debian unstable), and the only thing that makes me have second thoughts about getting a kuro box is not knowing wether this edonkeyclc works on it or not.

I've seen a few posts around this forum talking about mldonkey but that's not quite the same thing as using the clc with the ed2k-gtk-gui...

thx for any comments you'd like to share :)

you may want to try out mldonkey as backend on your kurobox and kmldonkey (http://www.kmldonkey.org) as frontend on your workstation.

kmldonkey should be in debian (un)stable repositories, though apt-get install kmldonkey on your workstation should be enough.
